About the Role

The RN Supervisor supports the Nurse Manager in the administrative duties of the clinical unit, providing leadership through collaboration with the healthcare team. This role is essential for maintaining standards of professional nursing practice within the clinical setting and ensuring quality patient outcomes.

You will participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities, providing input on standards of care. The position requires maintaining the clinical competencies needed to provide direct patient care when necessary. As a leader, you will coordinate daily nursing and staffing activities, share on-call responsibilities with the leadership team, and ensure staff members are adequately trained and competent. You will also assist in developing department policies, resolving work-related issues, and supporting the Manager in responding to customer service concerns with patients, families, and providers.
