The Registered Nurse (RN) serves as the cornerstone of patient care, responsible for identifying patient needs and establishing care priorities through comprehensive assessment. This role involves planning and delegating care strategies tailored to individual patient requirements, while continuously evaluating patient responses to ensure progress toward expected outcomes. The RN holds accountability for the quality and results of patient care delivered during their assigned shift.
