About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit. In this position, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to acutely ill adults who require close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions. This role exists to ensure that patients receive comprehensive support during critical recovery phases, bridging the gap between intensive care and general ward care.
You will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians and colleagues to develop and update individualized care plans. Your day will involve continuously monitoring and interpreting telemetry and vital signs, administering medications and IV therapies safely, and responding promptly to changes in patient conditions. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a vital role in educating patients and their families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout their journey.
