This role creates an environment where front-line nurses and ancillary staff provide whole-person care that is safe, complication-free, and optimizes functional independence for each patient. You will maintain a highly visible presence on the unit, collaborating closely with staff, charge nurses, physicians, and other department leaders to ensure clinical operations are efficient and effective while achieving high patient, family, and staff satisfaction.
As a leader, you will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel, utilizing professional and supervisory discretion. Your day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling, leading, and coordinating the daily activities of a defined unit on an assigned shift, while assisting leadership in accomplishing unit and organizational goals.

Master's Degree in nursing. Five years' technical experience. Three years' leadership experience. Two years' experience of acute care nursing in a hospital setting. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. National specialty certification in area of expertise or in nursing administration. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
