We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team in Moab, UT. This 13-week contract position is designed for a professional who embodies the hospice philosophy, providing skilled nursing care and emotional support to terminally ill patients and their families.
In this role, you will serve as a vital link between the patient, their family, and the broader care team. Your day will involve performing comprehensive assessments, managing pain and symptoms, and educating families on disease processes and end-of-life care. You will collaborate closely with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers to ensure a holistic approach to care. The position requires a flexible schedule with on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays, demanding a reliable presence and the ability to respond within 45 minutes when on call.
