About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. In this role, you will be the frontline advocate for patients requiring rapid assessment, triage, and evidence-based care. You will collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to manage everything from routine emergencies to critical stabilization.
Your day will involve providing comprehensive patient and family education, maintaining accurate electronic health records, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform rapid triage and ongoing assessment of ED patients
- check_circleAdminister medications, treatments, and IV therapy per protocol
- check_circleMonitor, interpret, and document vital signs and patient responses
- check_circleAssist with emergency procedures and stabilization of critical patients
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on care plans
- check_circleProvide patient and family education and support
- check_circleMaintain accurate, timely electronic health records documentation
- check_circleFollow infection prevention and safety protocols
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS)
- verifiedAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- verifiedPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- verifiedTrauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
- verifiedEmergency nursing experience preferred
Nice to Have
