About the Team
Desert Care Network serves the healthcare needs of the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin regions in Southern California. Our network includes Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, and Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree. We provide advanced care services such as comprehensive stroke care, a cancer center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and the only Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the Coachella Valley. About the Role
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Clinical Manager to drive excellence and inspire our team towards exceptional patient outcomes and operational success. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day shift operations within the Ortho Spine Department, managing human resources in a cost-effective manner. You will serve as a results-driven leader, fostering a culture of quality and integrity while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
You will provide leadership to staff regarding the care of Medical-Surgical patients and associated orthopedic surgery protocols. Your day-to-day responsibilities include resolving complaints from patients, visitors, staff, and physicians, and providing direction during crisis and emergency situations. You will act as a bridge between administration and the unit, helping employees understand difficult administrative decisions while maintaining open communication on organizational and professional issues. This position requires a strong ability to optimize staffing practices, manage labor costs, and facilitate interdepartmental collaboration to contribute to the hospital's overall goals.
