This position is based at St. Vincent's East - Urology Clinic, where you will work full-time on a Monday-Friday day shift. Under general supervision, you will provide and manage patient care by delivering services that utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Your responsibilities include interviewing patients, obtaining physicals, providing patient education, determining initial diagnoses, and maintaining thorough documentation.
You will be expected to effectively interact with patients, their significant others, and other healthcare team members while maintaining the highest standards of professional nursing. The role requires responding to the unique needs of all patients, conveying empathy and compassion to those experiencing pain, physical or emotional distress, and grief. You will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to perform effectively during emergency or critical situations.
