As a Level II Maintenance Technician at Six Flags, you will be the backbone of our guest experience, ensuring that our thrilling rides and attractions operate safely and reliably. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our parks, where your expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems directly impacts the safety and enjoyment of millions of visitors.
You will work as part of a dedicated team responsible for the full lifecycle of ride maintenance, from daily visual and auditory inspections to complex troubleshooting and annual rehabilitation. Your day-to-day involves climbing to work at heights, diagnosing issues in gearboxes, chains, hoists, and brake systems, and executing precise repairs according to manufacturer manuals and blueprints. Beyond the technical work, you will serve as a brand ambassador, interacting with guests to answer questions and provide directions while upholding our high standards for cleanliness and safety.
This position requires flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of the park, including working various shifts, nights, weekends, and holiday periods. You will collaborate closely with supervisors, park managers, vendors, and inspectors to ensure all equipment remains in a safe, ready condition compliant with all applicable codes and laws.
