- check_circleServe as physician match reviewer for imaging cases requiring specialty review
- check_circleApply medical review guidelines to ensure compliance with URAC and NCQA standards
- check_circleAssist the Senior Medical Director with research on utilization management processes
- check_circleAct as a resource and mentor for initial clinical reviewers
- check_circleDocument all communications with medical staff and providers accurately
- check_circleParticipate in ongoing training to maintain inter-rater reliability
- check_circleConduct peer-to-peer discussions with providers to explain clinical determinations
Requirements
- verifiedMD/DO/MBBS
- verifiedMinimum of five (5) years experience in the practice of Medicine, post residency
- verifiedActive Clinical practice within the last 2 years
- verifiedCurrent, unrestricted clinical license in home state
- verifiedActive Board Certification by an accredited organization
- verifiedHigh speed internet over 10 Mbps
- verifiedNot under current exclusion or sanction by any state or federal health care program
- verifiedNo history of a major disciplinary or legal action by a state medical board
Nice to Have
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the practice of Medicine, post residency and Active Clinical practice within the last 2 years.
