At Apple, we work every single day to craft products that enrich people's lives. Our RF Systems Engineering team is dedicated to solving the complex challenges of multi-radio coexistence for various wireless technologies, including Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and UWB. We are a dynamic group passionate about shaping upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of customers.
As a member of this team, you will have the unique opportunity to work on challenges that no one has solved yet. You will be responsible for assessing multi-radio coexistence performance across Apple's wireless ecosystem. This role blends hands-on hardware engineering with cross-functional collaboration and data-driven validation to ensure seamless operation across a diverse range of radio technologies.
In this position, you will work closely with RF Test Engineers, chipset teams, and cross-functional partners to identify, debug, and resolve coexistence challenges from early design stages through final product release. Your day-to-day involves performing hardware failure analysis at the RF and wireless system level, leveraging experimental hardware modifications to identify low-margin or failing behaviors. You will propose design and process changes to address coexistence issues while navigating design constraints and trade-offs.
You will also review and sign off on PCB layouts, flex layouts, system-level grounding, and shielding. The role requires executing validation and characterization test plans, tracking status, and communicating actionable insights from data. By partnering with cross-functional teams on circuit-level and system-level simulations, you will help identify risk areas and drive root cause analysis.
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a rigorous interview process designed to assess technical depth and cultural fit. This typically includes a review of your background, followed by technical discussions and system design evaluations to ensure you can handle the complexities of our wireless ecosystem.
Apple is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
