This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission, we are building sustainable infrastructure for the transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
As part of a hardworking team of specialists and engineers, you will be responsible for test campaigns in support of the development, acceptance, and qualification of flight avionics and communication hardware. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of developing safe and robust avionics and communication hardware within the Core Components division. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. A passion for our mission and vision is required.

Experience developing, designing, and/or verifying custom Automated Test Equipment. Experience working with Python. Familiarity with Linux and other Unix-style operating systems. Familiarity with git, JIRA, and Windchill. Experience developing hardware to IPC J-STD-0001xS, IPC/WHMA-A-620x-S, and/or NASA-STD-8739.n standards. Experience with DO-160, MIL-STD-461, and SMC-S-016 (or equivalent testing standards). Experience with safety-critical systems development (automotive, aerospace, medical, etc.).

Education: Minimum of a B.S. in electrical, computer, or aerospace engineering, physics, or related field.
