About the Role
The Retail Service Specialist is a pivotal role designed to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring smooth store operations. This position serves as the backbone of the showroom, leading team members in providing excellent service to both retail and professional customers.
In the absence of the Store or Assistant Manager, you will assume shift management responsibilities, ensuring the team adheres to company policies regarding customer service programs, order processing, and security protocols. You will act as a key liaison for customer inquiries, handling everything from buy-online-ship-to-store transfers to special orders and returns with efficiency and a friendly demeanor.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleLead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
- check_circleSupervise customer service levels and team member execution on sales programs in the retail showroom
- check_circleHandle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the electronic outside purchase order ledger
- check_circleProcess retail customer returns and exchanges accurately and stage returned merchandise correctly
- check_circleEnsure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store
- check_circleProcess buy online/ship to store, hub, store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner
- check_circleEnsure telephone calls are answered according to company policy
- check_circlePerform store opening and closing duties including day end procedures, bank deposits, and security checks
- check_circleDelegate and complete Zipline messages, Image Maker, and merchandising tasks as assigned
- check_circleMonitor team member adherence to work schedules and clock-in/out procedures
Requirements
- verifiedStrong communication skills

- verifiedRetail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
- verifiedAutomotive systems and repair knowledge
