Retail Customer Service Associate

About the Role

FedEx is seeking Retail Customer Associates to join our team as a Retail Customer Associate to work within our FedEx Office retail locations. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, assisting customers with a wide range of shipping, printing, and business service solutions. Your primary mission is to provide professional, efficient, and friendly customer service while ensuring that all shipping and mailing needs are met with accuracy and care.

Day in the Life

As a Retail Customer Associate, your day involves a dynamic mix of customer interaction and operational tasks. You will greet customers warmly and guide them through the shipping process, helping them choose the best shipping options for their needs. You will be responsible for processing shipping orders, preparing packages for shipment, and ensuring they are properly labeled, and entering them into the FedEx tracking system.

Beyond shipping, you will assist customers with various business services, including document printing, copying, scanning, and faxing. You will operate printing and copying equipment, handle packaging and labeling, and manage customer orders. Additionally, you will operate cash registers, process payments, answer phones, and maintain a clean and organized retail store environment. Your role is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

In addition to base pay, which typically ranges from $16 to $22 per hour, you may have the opportunity to earn overtime pay, performance bonuses, and shift differential pay for evening or weekend shifts. Some locations may also offer sales incentives based on store performance and services sold.
