Retail Associate Production

Contribute to the mission of Goodwill in a retail store setting. Our goal is to maximize efficiency, maintain a welcoming store appearance, and ensure satisfaction for both customers and associates. We process donations in a timely manner to get items onto the sales floor where they can help others.

About the Role

You will be an essential part of our operations team, handling the intake and preparation of donated goods. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as a team member in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for inspecting donations and raw materials to determine their marketability, sorting items for store use, salvage, or disposal, and tagging goods according to our rotation system.

Your day will involve standing and hanging sorted goods for placement on the retail sales floor while adhering to productivity standards. You will need to produce an appropriate number of items daily and be ready to cross-train in multiple production and customer service positions. Success in this role depends on your ability to handle multiple priorities, quickly learn new procedures, and communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
