About the Role
As a General Manager at TMart, you will be the driving force behind a successful restaurant operation. This role is designed for motivated individuals who want to grow with a company that invests in their future. You will not just manage a location; you will build a culture where guests feel welcome and team members feel valued.
Our approach to leadership is unique. All managerial hires begin as "Management Trainees" in a paid, internal training program that spans eight weeks. This "slow-walk" training ensures you fully understand every position you will oversee, gaining the knowledge, respect, and credibility needed to lead with poise. As you advance through Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, and General Manager certifications, you will unlock bonuses and opportunities for advancement into our Multi-Unit Manager Training Program.
The Day-to-Day
In this role, you will create and maintain a guest-focused culture while ensuring brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed consistently. Your day will involve recruiting, hiring, and developing a talented team, coaching them to drive sales and profitability, and reviewing guest feedback to implement improvements. You will be responsible for controlling costs, managing inventory and financial reporting, and ensuring the restaurant budget is met. Beyond the operational duties, you will lead team meetings, deliver training, and plan schedules to meet guest demand. You must be ready to perform all responsibilities of the restaurant team members yourself, serving as a hands-on leader in a fast-paced environment.
