As a General Manager, your mission is to reinforce the Border Foods Core Values: Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment. The purpose of this role is to make the lives of employees and guests better by creating opportunities to positively impact life experiences. You will be responsible for the operation of the entire restaurant and building a strong team that consistently provides customers great food and a friendly experience. This involves guiding team members to serve safe, quality food, scheduling correctly, and driving fast, friendly service. You will also act as a strategic planner, utilizing P&L statements to deliver profit and minimizing loss through strict adherence to cash handling and accounting policies.

Border Foods is a Minnesota based franchisee of Taco Bell, the nation’s leading Mexican-inspired quick service restaurant. We own 180+ locations, and are still growing, throughout Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming, making us one of the largest Taco Bell franchisees in the country. Founders, and brothers, Jeff Engler and Lee Engler got started in the quick-service restaurant business in the late 1970s. They began operating Taco Bell franchises in the 1980s.
