About the Role
SSP is seeking a friendly and reliable Restaurant Cashier to support our Food & Beverage Operations. In this fast-paced environment, you will be the face of our service, greeting guests warmly and ensuring they have an excellent experience from the moment they approach the counter.
You will collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams to keep orders moving efficiently, acting as a vital link between the front-of-house and the back-of-house. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic settings and take pride in delivering hospitality while maintaining accuracy in every transaction. Entry-level applicants are welcome, as comprehensive training is provided to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleWarmly greet guests and process food and beverage orders using POS systems
- check_circleHandle cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately and balance drawer at shift end
- check_circleProvide fast, friendly service while answering questions about menu items and promotions
- check_circleCoordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and accurate orders
- check_circleMaintain a clean, safe, and organized cashier and dining area following food safety standards
- check_circleResolve basic guest issues or escalate concerns to supervisors as needed
- check_circleFollow all SSP and Smiths Group safety, security, and compliance procedures
- check_circleSupport inventory checks and restocking of front-counter items
