We are seeking an energetic Respiratory Therapist to join our team and provide essential care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute, long-term care setting. In this role, you will be the backbone of respiratory support, administering medication, managing ventilator settings, and monitoring patient responses to treatment.
Your day will involve performing direct hands-on respiratory care, developing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, and maintaining accurate records of patient progress. You will be responsible for providing professional expertise during emergency codes and unexpected situations, ensuring that every patient receives safe, standards-based care. This position is a 40-hour per week role on the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift, with shared weekend and holiday coverage as operationally needed.
