This position is essential to maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing operations, with a primary focus on food safety, quality assurance, and site safety. The role serves as the operational backbone for material handling, ensuring that raw materials are gathered, weighed, blended, and supplied to machines efficiently while adhering to strict sanitary standards.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end movement of materials, from unloading bulk resin trailers to managing inventory levels and documenting all movements for quality control. A significant portion of your day involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the grinding area, purging machines, and ensuring all equipment, such as blenders and dye feeders, is functioning correctly.
Food safety is a critical component of this role. You will monitor and verify that all products entering and leaving the facility meet rigorous food safety and quality standards. This includes ensuring all work product contact surfaces are restored to sanitary conditions after every job and promptly reporting any process failures to supervision. You will work in a typical manufacturing environment, often requiring ear protection due to moderate to high noise levels, and must be prepared to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
