This Research Assistant position supports the faculty-led project Towards a New Democratic Political Economy under the Heilbroner Center for Capitalism Studies. The role is designed to foster effective in-person collaboration and engagement on campus.
In this capacity, you will work directly under the supervision of a faculty member or associate researcher assigned by Professor William Milberg. Your day-to-day will involve conducting literature reviews, collecting data, performing basic analysis, and providing drafting support. Beyond research, you will play an active role in the Center's community by assisting with the organization of events and convenings, handling logistical preparation, and providing on-site support during conferences, workshops, and talks.
You will be expected to attend Center events and participate in bi-weekly meetings to share progress updates and receive feedback. This is a part-time commitment of 10 hours per week, requiring regular communication with supervisors to meet agreed-upon deadlines.
