About the Role
Republic Services is seeking a Relief Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics team within the Waste Management industry. This position is designed to ensure uninterrupted service by safely operating collection vehicles on residential and commercial routes. As a Relief Driver, you will be the flexible backbone of our operations, filling in across various shifts and routes to keep our community services running smoothly.
In this role, you will perform essential pre- and post-trip inspections, adhere strictly to DOT and company safety standards, and accurately complete all route documentation. Your day will involve interacting professionally with customers, reporting any route or equipment issues, and maintaining the cleanliness and compliance of your assigned vehicle. This position is integral to our broader commitment to environmental responsibility, inclusivity, safety, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedValid CDL (Class B minimum)
- verifiedAir brake endorsement preferred
- verifiedClean motor vehicle record (MVR)

- verifiedExperience with commercial or refuse trucks preferred
