Acts Housing is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding homeownership and revitalizing communities through high-quality residential redevelopment. Founded in 1901, the organization serves as a pillar for strengthening Milwaukee neighborhoods, focusing on rehabilitation rather than ground-up construction.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Rehab Project Manager to lead residential renovation projects. This role is designed for a leader who thrives in the field, managing the full lifecycle of 10 to 15 active job sites simultaneously. You will be responsible for developing scopes of work, budgets, and timelines, while soliciting bids and hiring subcontractors.
Your day-to-day involves overseeing job sites to ensure quality, safety, and progress, with a specific focus on navigating permits, inspections, and housing compliance, including HUD regulations where applicable. You will work closely with internal team members and external partners to track costs, materials, and schedules, ensuring every project moves from scope through completion with strong autonomy and ownership.
Join a mission-driven team improving neighborhoods across Milwaukee. This position offers the opportunity to lead projects with significant independence while contributing to the tangible revitalization of the community.
We partner directly with our HR department and leadership to hire talent. As a direct line to the company, not an agency recruiter, we ensure a streamlined application process for our candidates.
