As a Registered Respiratory Therapist on our Full-Time Evening shift, you will be a vital part of our clinical team, performing cardiopulmonary and neurological diagnostic studies while providing essential pulmonary therapeutic modalities for both inpatients and outpatients. This role exists to ensure high-quality respiratory care within our healing and therapeutic environment, directly impacting patient outcomes through comprehensive assessment, individualized care planning, and timely intervention.
In this position, you will function independently to administer treatments and procedures appropriate to the evidence-based needs of our patients. Your day will involve monitoring patient conditions, evaluating responses to care, and communicating effectively with the broader healthcare team to recommend alternate interventions. You will also play a key role in staff development, assisting with the orientation and training of respiratory personnel, and facilitating departmental educational programs. Whether managing complex equipment like ventilators and bronchoscopes or delivering education to patients and families regarding discharge needs, you will be an integral voice in our commitment to patient safety and well-being.
