As an Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) on the Long Term Acute Care unit, you will partner with a dedicated team to support patients through their extended recovery journey. This role exists to provide specialized nursing care to patients who have been stabilized in the ICU but require continued, intensive medical management.
Your day will involve receiving admissions and transfers, conducting systematic patient assessments, and interpreting diagnostic data including labs and telemetry. You will ensure medical orders are processed accurately and be prepared to lead or support Rapid Response and code events. Beyond clinical duties, you will serve as a vital resource by instructing and counseling patients and their families, helping them navigate the recovery process with confidence.
