Select Specialty Hospital in Morgantown, located inside Mon Health on the 4th Floor, is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to helping patients during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. We are committed to providing compassionate, excellent treatment every step of the way, with Registered Nurses playing a central role in our care model.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Long Term Acute Care unit, you will partner with a team of over 44,000 committed professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. This role exists to support patients through complex, extended recovery periods, ensuring they receive systematic assessment, accurate documentation, and expert clinical judgment.
In this position, you will manage admissions and transfers, interpret diagnostic data including labs and telemetry, and ensure medical orders are processed accurately. You will also be responsible for instructing and counseling patients and families, while maintaining competence in Rapid Response and code events. The role is designed for those who thrive in a night shift environment, working a 3-shift, 12-hour weekend program schedule.

Hiring Process
Candidates must possess a valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License and BLS certification at the time of hire. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of employment. Clinical experience is preferred.
