About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Endoscopy to join our healthcare team at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. In this PRN (as needed) capacity, your primary function is to assist credentialed physicians in performing endoscopic procedures to diagnose, care for, and treat patients. You will work within a phenomenal team that operates in a collaborative manner, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Your day will involve applying the nursing process in the peri-operative setting, preparing endoscopy suites for procedures, and educating patients regarding their upcoming treatments. You will monitor patient status during moderate sedation, identify potential complications, and evaluate patient responses to ensure physiological and psychological stability. This role is designed for those passionate about the patient experience who want to make a tangible difference in a supportive environment.
About the Hospital
HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary care hospital accredited by the Joint Commission and designated as a Level II Trauma Center. Located in the heart of Kissimmee, we are a teaching hospital in collaboration with the UCF College of Medicine. Our facility offers a wide range of services, including Emergency Care, Trauma Care, Pediatric ER, a Heart & Vascular Institute, and a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
