This Registered Nurse position is dedicated to the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the comprehensive nursing process: assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
In this role, you will direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on established clinical standards subscribed to by the American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. The position requires critical thinking, management, and problem-solving skills to differentiate urgency in clinical situations. You will function as a clinician, teacher, researcher, leader, and professional development resource, collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and the achievement of desired outcomes.
Your practice will be guided by the code of ethics for nurses, with a specific focus on integrating knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into care provision. You will contribute to quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes.
