As a nurse in our 32-bed surgical telemetry unit, you will be focused on providing high-quality, patient and family-centered care. Our primary population includes patients requiring cardiothoracic surgery (post-CABG, valve replacement, pulmonary surgery), vascular surgery (lower limb bypass, carotid endarterectomy, amputation), and urology (prostatectomy, bladder tumor resection, continuous bladder irrigation). In our single-patient rooms, we care for a diverse range of surgical and medical services requiring a progressive level of care.
Joining our team offers a unique environment where nurses truly have a voice through shared governance. We are committed to great patient ratios and have made significant investments in safe patient handling and mobility equipment. Our culture is distinct from other hospitals, ensuring our nurses are truly happy and feel valued. We encourage professional growth and development, offering structured preceptorships and continuing education opportunities.
