Join our team of Registered Nurses at a brand-new, state-of-the-art medical facility. As part of a founding nursing team in our Medical-Surgical unit (Medicine I), you will help shape the future of exceptional patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to build a supportive culture from the ground up and make a lasting impact in a modern environment designed for both patients and staff.
You will serve as a patient advocate and clinical expert, demonstrating strong assessment skills to uncover the patient's story by integrating subjective and objective data, physical and psychosocial factors, and personal preferences. Your day will involve collaborating with patients, their support systems, and the interdisciplinary team to identify priorities and incorporate preferences into individualized care plans.
In this role, you will administer and evaluate medication therapies, provide routine nursing care such as IVs and dressing changes, and respond effectively in critical situations like CPR. You will continuously assess patient progress, modify care plans as needs evolve, and communicate clearly with the entire care team using tools like SBARQ. Additionally, you will delegate tasks appropriately, mentor others, and engage in shared governance and process improvement to enhance practice.
We offer a comprehensive orientation and training program designed to set new team members up for success. You will receive ongoing support from experienced preceptors and leadership throughout your onboarding journey.
