This Registered Nurse position is based on 3 North, a 42-bed Medical Surgical unit. The main focus of the unit is the provision of safe and quality-driven care reflective of evidenced-based practice. You will receive patients from a variety of sources, including the emergency room, direct admissions, transfers from other hospitals, intensive care, and other units.
In this role, you will show dedication to enriching the lives of our patients through empathy and compassion. You will demonstrate commitment to interpersonal excellence through professional greetings and common courtesy. Your day will involve developing and implementing plans of care through the delivery and delegation of care, as well as participating in patient and family education. You will collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination. Additionally, you will be prepared to respond accordingly in emergency situations for Codes and interpret patient data accurately to plan and revise care strategies in consultation with the team.
