9West is a specialized 23-bed inpatient unit located in the West wing on the ninth floor of the main hospital. We provide care for adult and geriatric patients in the fields of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Epilepsy Monitoring. Our facility features private patient rooms, including one designated reverse air flow room. Notably, nine rooms are hard-wired to support continuous epilepsy monitoring, a program unique to our unit. The team also manages Stroke patients and general neurosurgical cases.
As a Registered Nurse I (New Graduate), you will join our team at an advanced beginner level under general supervision. Your primary mission is to provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients and their families, utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. You will collaborate closely with other members of the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
This role is ideal for energetic and enthusiastic individuals looking to launch their careers in a dynamic environment. You will work a schedule of 36 hours per week, consisting of rotating 12-hour shifts or straight night shifts, which includes some weekends.
