Grove Adult Unit is a nationally recognized program dedicated to treating individuals with a variety of mental health conditions. Our approach utilizes an intensive, multi-disciplinary strategy that combines individual therapy, milieu therapy, and process-oriented, experiential, and psycho-educational group therapies. At Sheppard Pratt, we are more than just a workplace; we are a community of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing hope and healing to individuals facing life's challenges.
As a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Grove Adult Unit, you will join a multi-disciplined team led by a bold vision to change lives. You will perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include administering medical treatments as prescribed by physicians, providing psychosocial support to patients and their families, and offering clinical direction to Mental Health Workers and other paraprofessional staff. You will also document and report patient progress to the treatment team.
At Sheppard Pratt, you will be part of a mission that changes lives. We offer a commitment to professional development, including a comprehensive tuition reimbursement program to support ongoing education and licensure preparation. Our culture is built on the belief that we can make a difference together.
All new clinical staff will begin an extended clinical orientation and training immediately following their first day of employment. Candidates residing in a compact state may apply with a multistate license and must obtain a Maryland RN license within 60 days of relocation.
Sheppard Pratt is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
