The Registered Nurse (RN) - Charge Nurse serves as the first line of clinical support during assigned shifts, functioning under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This role assumes responsibility for the clinical operations of the hospital, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care while supporting staff and coordinating workflow.
In this position, you will provide leadership, prioritization, and direction to meet the operational and clinical demands of the hospital. You will act as the primary clinical resource for staff, physicians, and other providers, assessing unit needs and managing patient flow. The role requires a balance of clinical oversight and direct patient care, ensuring adherence to the rehabilitation nursing philosophy and best practices while fostering a positive, professional work environment.
