Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Critical Care Unit (CCU) to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. About the Role
In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans for critical patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring patients for changes in status and early indications of conditions such as sepsis or shock, initiating appropriate interventions, and administering prescribed medications and treatments while monitoring reactions. You will also operate life-saving equipment, including ventilators and defibrillators, ensuring the highest levels of care are maintained through continuous participation in educational sessions.
