About the Team
The Cardiovascular Unit provides professional nursing care to out-patients for planned procedures across the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Interventional Radiology Lab, and various Radiology procedures. This dynamic 15-bay unit delivers Pre- and Post-Procedural care within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient and family-centered care. The team treats a diverse patient population in a culture where nurses truly have a voice through shared governance.
About the Role
You will join a team committed to ensuring nurses are happy, valued, and supported with great patient ratios. The unit offers structured preceptorships and continuing education to encourage professional growth and development. Significant investments have been made in safe patient handling and mobility equipment to support your daily work. The unit operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with occasional on-call shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. depending on full-time equivalent status.
