About the Role
Encompass Health seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver specialized, patient-centered care in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. You will join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping patients achieve their highest level of independence. In this nurturing, dynamic, and rewarding environment, you will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and closely monitor progress toward rehabilitation goals.
Your day will involve administering medications and treatments, including IV therapy and wound care, while working alongside physicians and therapists to refine rehab strategies. A key part of your mission is to educate patients and their families on recovery plans, safety, and self-care, ensuring safe transitions of care. You will uphold high standards of quality and safety while maintaining accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
