About the Team

Baird 3 opened as an Adult Medicine – Telemetry unit in June 2019. The team was originally cultivated utilizing experienced UVMMC staff and newly hired staff from all over the world. Over the years, Baird 3 has created a positive and enthusiastic environment that uplifts and supports one another. It is a fast-paced and stimulating unit where the immense variety of patients and diagnoses enables staff to grow professionally and personally. Baird 3 provides a foundation for one to flourish, evolve, and advance their skills.

Our team culture is unlike what you'll find at other hospitals. We ensure our nurses are truly happy and feel valued, offering structured preceptorships and continuing education. We are committed to great patient ratios and have made significant investments in safe patient handling and mobility equipment.
