The Alternative Level of Care (ALC) Pod is a specialized unit within a unit located on McClure 6. It functions as a dedicated space for approximately 10 long-term care patients awaiting appropriate discharge dispositions. The patient population presents with a wide range of diagnoses, and their care is managed by a dedicated geriatric provider team. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, with a preference for candidates who have prior long-term care experience.
