In this position, you will serve as a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to promote safety, education, and positive patient outcomes. You will be responsible for coordinating treatment plans, administering medications and IV therapies, and advocating for patients' needs with cultural sensitivity and respect.
Your day will involve performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, and developing individualized nursing care plans. You will provide clear education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and discharge instructions, ensuring they feel supported and informed. Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement initiatives and may have the opportunity to precept or mentor new nurses and nursing students, reflecting our shared commitment to excellence and growth.
