In this position, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, serving as a vital link between patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Your mission is to coordinate treatment plans and support individuals through every stage of care, from initial assessment to discharge. You will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to promote safety, education, and positive outcomes.
Your day will be defined by a commitment to evidence-based protocols and hospital policies. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications and IV therapies, and monitor vital signs to identify and respond to changes in condition. Beyond clinical duties, you will advocate for patients' needs, ensuring culturally sensitive and respectful care for diverse populations. You will also play a key role in quality improvement initiatives and may have the opportunity to precept or mentor new nurses and nursing students.
