Premier Enterprise Solutions is seeking an Africa, Near East Regional Policy and Operational Support Staff Officer (SME IV) to serve as a critical partner to the Office of the Undersecretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)) and the Director for Defense Intelligence (DDI). This position is dedicated to supporting the Operational Support and International Partnerships (OSIP) mission, which focuses on developing and managing resources to meet intelligence requirements and conducting strategic outreach to the Department of War (DoW) and the broader Intelligence Community (IC).
In this capacity, you will function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) delivering high-level policy, operational, and analytic support. The role is designed to bridge complex strategic planning with on-the-ground execution, ensuring seamless collaboration across the Defense Intelligence and Security Enterprise (DISE), Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, and international partners. You will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of intelligence activities in the Africa and Near East regions, providing expert guidance on planning, programming, and budgeting matters.
Your work will center on driving policy and strategy development while managing high-stakes stakeholder engagement. You will draft and review strategic guidance, prepare critical briefings and decision memoranda for senior leadership, and facilitate complex deliberations on national and international security issues. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to international partnership and liaison efforts, managing initiatives for relationship building and supporting Foreign Liaison Officers. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation of transformational initiatives, including Coalition and Combatant Command IT sharing and manpower integration, ensuring compliance and progress across multiple complex projects.
Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to work onsite in Arlington, VA. The selection process prioritizes deep regional expertise in Africa and the Near East, combined with extensive experience in staff officer support roles involving policy, strategy, and program oversight.
