About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist at Mercy Hospital Springfield, you will perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy according to physician's orders. You will serve as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff, consulting on the effectiveness of therapy and acting as a key partner in patient outcomes. This PRN position operates on a day shift schedule (6:30 AM to 4:00 PM) with varying days.

Mercy is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program; Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; PALS required for Emergency Room workers; Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred; and Critical care experience preferred.
