About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Operator to join our team at a new commercial ammonia (R-717) refrigeration facility in Rahway, NJ. This is a hands-on operating position within a lean team, offering a unique ground-floor opportunity to help establish operations at a state-of-the-art plant.
The right candidate brings proven ammonia operating experience, takes safety seriously, and understands PSM/RMP compliance requirements. You will be a key member of the team responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the facility's refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, vessels, and all associated auxiliary systems, controls, and safety equipment. Your role involves not only monitoring and controlling system parameters but also serving as a vital part of the facility's emergency response team.
