About the Position
Schneider is seeking Owner Operators to haul camping gear in dry van trailers across the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast. This role focuses on 100% no-touch freight, where drivers pick up preloaded trailers and perform live unloads at stores. The typical schedule involves 1-2 loads per week with 4-5 stop-offs per load.
Equipment & Support
Schneider supports Owner Operators who need a truck or wish to upgrade by connecting them with equipment sales and leasing providers. Drivers are provided with a Samsung tablet for use inside and outside the cab, along with free trailer usage. Additionally, drivers have access to Schneider's company facilities, which offer free parking, laundry, meal options, and exercise equipment.
Benefits & Incentives
This position offers competitive weekly pay and a sign-on bonus of $3,000 (comprised of $228 on the second settlement payment and $126 weekly for the following 22 weeks, subject to terms and conditions). Additional advantages include compensation for time spent in orientation, discounts on fuel, tires, and maintenance through the Purchase Power Program, and unlimited referral bonuses.
Application Instructions
Candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and have a minimum of 6 months of Class A driving experience. Drivers must live within 250 miles of Lebanon, IN. Tractors must be 2011 or newer, pass a DOT inspection, meet EPA10 emissions requirements, and have a functioning Collision Mitigation System.
