Schneider is seeking Owner Operators for Dry Bulk routes based in Memphis, TN. This role offers a unique opportunity to run your own business with the support of a major logistics network. As an Owner Operator, you will have the autonomy to select your loads, manage your home time, and choose your lanes, all while operating under Schneider's authority.
This position is designed for drivers who want to maximize their revenue potential without the administrative burden of calculating fuel costs or accessorials. By selecting loads with an all-in rate, you gain full control over your earnings and operational efficiency. The role also provides access to Schneider's private load board, one of the largest freight pools in the industry, ensuring a consistent flow of work that makes sense for your business.
As a Dry Bulk Owner Operator, you will be responsible for hauling tanker trailers, which are provided at no charge. Your day involves hands-on loading and unloading of freight, requiring a high level of physical engagement and attention to safety. You will utilize Schneider's easy-to-use mobile app to log in, click, pick, and go, streamlining the process of selecting freight. The role is supported by tools provided to help you succeed, including pumps, compressors, personal protective gear, and a Samsung tablet.
Owner Operators can expect competitive weekly pay with an average revenue range of $190,000 to $285,000. To support new partners, Schneider offers a sign-on bonus of $7,500, structured as $570 on your second settlement payment and $315 each week for the next 22 weeks. Additional financial benefits include discounts on fuel, tires, and maintenance through the Purchase Power Program, as well as unlimited referral bonuses. Compensation is also provided for time spent in orientation.

Please note that specific equipment requirements must be met, including a 2011 or newer tractor that passes a DOT inspection, meets EPA10 emissions requirements, and is equipped with a functioning Collision Mitigation System and power take-off (PTO).
