About the Role
As a Stocker or Receiver at Whole Foods Market, you play a vital role in ensuring our stores are fully stocked, organized, and ready to serve our customers. You will be responsible for receiving and unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining high standards of inventory management. Your work directly contributes to the fresh, high-quality experience our shoppers expect.
Day in the Life
Your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks designed to keep the store running smoothly. Key activities include:
- Receiving and unloading delivery trucks.
- Stocking shelves with fresh and dry goods.
- Rotating perishable inventory and checking expiration dates to ensure freshness.
- Organizing backroom inventory for efficient access.
- Building attractive product displays.
- Maintaining clean and safe work areas.
Overnight shifts focus heavily on stocking, inventory organization, and store setup to prepare the organization, and store setup to ensure the store is ready for opening the next day.
