The Rebar Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of reinforcing scopes for concrete projects. This position serves as a critical bridge between the Rebar Service Manager and project teams, ensuring that safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are maintained throughout the entire project lifecycle.
In this capacity, you will support the project team by reviewing and performing take-offs to prepare bids, while actively participating in the review of shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals to ensure accuracy against specifications. You will help establish sequential process steps, adapting schedules and work tasks as needed. A key part of your day involves monitoring safety, quality, cost, and scheduling while coordinating deliveries, managing inventories, and resolving fabrication discrepancies for assigned projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships to enhance the company's ability to procure new projects.
