We have an exciting opportunity for an onsite Range RF Test Systems Engineer II to join our Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) directorate in McKinney, Texas. TEE is a multi-discipline organization responsible for contributing to the development of test solutions for all Raytheon products. This role involves designing interface assemblies, selecting and integrating test instruments and environments, and developing test systems for both lab engineering and factory production.
As a Range RF Test Systems Engineer II, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and validation of antenna test range hardware and software solutions for multiple production programs. You will work closely with hardware, software, and program engineers to design and develop test software solutions for production testing. The role requires implementing system software engineering best practices in planning, development, and execution, while effectively communicating technical information in formal design review settings. You will also provide hands-on support to product testing within an engineering test environment and share knowledge by mentoring other engineers on the team.
This position is 100% on-site in McKinney, TX.
To ensure the security of our critical defense programs, this role requires an active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (DoD Secret) prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Candidates must have the ability to obtain an INTERIM U.S. government-issued security clearance before starting.
