Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking Senior Systems Engineers interested in ocean engineering. Our Portsmouth, RI team primarily supports programs in the naval undersea and naval surface domains, including sensor systems, mine countermeasures, submarines, torpedoes, combat systems, and ship architecture/integration.
You will join a team of engineers performing underwater acoustics analysis and tracking, radar analysis and tracking, and developing and managing system requirements. Your work will involve integrating hardware and software, developing test plans and procedures, debugging and evaluating system functions and interfaces, and verifying system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer. You will perform system performance evaluations to identify opportunities for new functionality and work across disciplines to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges. Additionally, you will create and modify documentation for formal testing reviews and communicate results effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
